We recently secured permission to convert this historic listed building into a HMO. Having a notable place in the history of York, the former workshops of T M Oxtoby who traded in York for over 100 years, still contain many original internal features and an ornate frontage. After many generations in the business of painting and decorating, the family now operate the highly renowned Mount Royale Hotel and Spa.
The building provides generous student accommodation and maximizes returns for the building’s owner. We are always pleased when our projects bring derelict space back into use whilst demonstrating a careful response to the rich architectural heritage of York.
